We support many aspects of natural parenting and attachment parenting. One of the best practices we’ve found is babywearing: wearing your infant or child in a sling or wrap close to your body. We first learned about babywearing while preparing for the birth of our youngest child and have found the benefits endless. If you have any questions about the different type of carriers available or the benefits of wearing your baby, please contact us for more information. We’re happy to provide one-on-one instruction with several different carriers to help you learn more.

Before using your carrier, you must read and following proper wearing instructions. We suggest doing several test runs with another person nearby to give you a hand and help build your confidence. We’ve found the following websites have very good visual instructions for how to wear different types of wraps or slings. Make sure you understand the directions before trying this with your child, serious injury or death is possible if you do not follow the directions properly. We’re happy to assist you one-on-one with your carrier to make sure you wearing your baby safely and comfortably.

The following manufacturers make some of the most common brands of babywearing slings and wraps. Their websites offer thorough instructions on the many ways to wear your baby with that style of carrier. Many of these sites also have instructional videos you can view. You Tube also has several videos that can help you learn basic and advanced baby wearing holds.

To place and order for cloth diapers, please visit our online shop at: danielcreations.artfire.com

Pocket Diapers:

Our most popular diaper style, are available in newborn, small, medium, and large sizes. Pocket diapers are made with a breathable, waterproof outer layer of PUL (polyurethane lined) polyester fabric. This fabric offers a strong, flexible moisture barrier to minimize bulk. These diapers are lined with a stay-dry layer of suedecloth that wicks moisture away from baby’s skin. Suedecloth stays soft through continuous washings and resists stains.

One of the biggest advantages to pocket diapers is the ability to customize absorbency to meet your baby’s needs. These diapers can be stuffed with a variety of inserts – from our 100% cotton inserts to regular prefold diapers. You can add as many inserts as your child needs, including extra layers for naptime and nighttime.

We use high-quality, plastic snap closures on all of our pocket diapers. Snaps allow you to adjust the diaper for a snug fit and will not chain together during washing like hook-and-loop closures can.
